During summer time the area of Portobelo is great to practice snorkel and observe the wide quantities of coral  reefs plenty of beautiful fishes.

Description:

First we will travel North to the coastline of the Caribbean during the route you will observe the communities between Panama city and Colon and learn about the panamenian lifestyle, then after our arrival to the population of Portobelo that was chosen by the Spanish crown to be the place where celebrate the greatest and rich fairs of the commerce between America and Spain, the city it was founded on 1597 and it was protected by Santiago de La Gloria, San Geronimo & San Fernando forts during the golden age of the town, but due to mutiples attacks that underwent the Spanish galleons when leaving the bay of Portobelo the Spanish crown took the decision to suspend the trips towards the Isthmus which caused the ruin of Portobelo. At this time still the walls of the forts and the used batteries. Visit Portobelo in a rich cultural experience which is not due to miss. After to visit the town we will move to a beautiful beach of the Caribbean where we will be able to enjoy its warm and crystalline waters.

Portobelo & secluded island Snorkeling

For those interested in practice snorkeling in our Caribbean coast, we offer you travel by boat to a secluded island beach where you will snorkeling for a couple of hours surounding by beautiful tropical fishes and a lot of marine wildlife around the coral reefs.

Price per person: Normal = USD75 or Private: USD90
Children under 10 years old = US$45 and under 5 travel free
